Trade Finance Market appoints ex FIMBank President Margrith Lütschg Emmenegger as COO to develop and execute its trade finance growth strategy

Fintech continues to attract talent from the banking sector as it leverages technology to transform trade finance.
Former president of FIMBank and former Chairman of International Factors Group (IFG), Margrith Lutschg Emmenegger, has joined Singapore based Trade Finance Market, a fintech pioneer utilising technology to provide an alternative source of impact capital for emerging market cross border trade.
Margrith has extensive trade finance experience with Barclays Bank and then as Global Head for West LB for Factoring and Forfaiting.. She was also instrumental in the acquisition of London Forfaiting by FIMBank following the Asian and Russian crises.
Margrith, whose role is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Structured Commodity Trade Finance, commented, “I am honoured and excited to form part of this unique fintech offering which clearly fills a gap - providing more investors of trade finance the ability to fund safely with greater transparency.
