  1. Alecsandra Valasuteanu

    Alecsandra Valasuteanu

    UniCredit Bank Romania is a member of UniCredit, a leading European bank, and one of the traditional providers of factoring, forfeiting and supply chain financing solutions. With close to 20 years of experience in the financial sector, Alecsandra started in UniCredit Leasing Romania as Senior Relationship Manager. In 2007, she joined the Bank’s team, specializing in receivables management and financing. She has been representing UniCredit Bank S.A. in the Romanian Factoring Association Board of Directors since its establishment.
  2. Andreas Bene

    Andreas Bene

    Andreas Bene is CEO of Raiffeisen Factor Bank (RFB), one of the leading factoring banks in the Austrian market. RFB is responsible for factoring within the Austrian Raiffeisen Banking Group, present across the entire country with its local Raiffeisen Banks, and achieves an annual turnover of EUR 9 bn. in purchased receivables (2019). RFB is a 100% subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) and acts as Competence Center Factoring for the banking network in the CEE region where factoring solutions are offered in 13 markets. Additionally, Andreas Bene is President of the Austrian Factoring Association.
  3. Anna Joubin-Bret

    Anna Joubin-Bret

    Mrs. Anna Joubin-Bret, born on 2nd February 1962, is the Secretary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law and Director of the Division on International Trade Law in the Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations. She has been appointed on 24 November 2017. Prior to her appointment, Mrs. Joubin-Bret was a practicing Attorney-at-law of the Paris Bar. She specialized in International Investment Law and Investment Dispute Resolution. She focused on serving as counsel, arbitrator, mediator and conciliator in international investment disputes. She served as arbitrator in several ICSID, UNCITRAL and ICC disputes. Prior to 2011 and for 15 years, Anna was the Senior Legal Adviser for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). In this capacity, she managed the research and advisory work on international investment law issues as well as the technical assistance program on international investment agreements (IIAs). During her tenure, Anna assisted countries and governments in the formulation of investment policies and frameworks and the management of investor-State disputes. Anna has edited and authored seminal research and publications on international commercial law and international investment law, notably the Sequels to UNCTAD IIA Series. She co-edited with Jean Kalicki a book on Reform of Investor-State Dispute Settlement in 2015. She lectured on international investment law in various universities and institutes all over the world. She holds a post-graduate degree (DEA) in Private International Law from the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, a Masters Degree in International Economic Law from the University Paris I, a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Political Science from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques and a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Private Law from the Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III). She has been Legal Counsel in the legal department of the Schneider Group, General Counsel of the formerly French KIS Group and Director-Export of Pomagalski S.A. She has been appointed judge at the Commercial Court in Grenoble (France) and was elected Regional Counsellor of the Rhône-Alpes Region in 1998.
  4. Daniel Huszar

    Daniel Huszar

    Head of Sales, Efcom Coming from the business and distribution side of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Mr. Daniel Huszár founded his own advertising agency, then joined efcom in 2012. As Head of Sales, he supported efcom in expanding its international business, by defining a global marketing strategy. Daniel Huszár is responsible for client communication, as well as consultancy in product development. Past projects include working with Allianz Bank, KBC and Postbank. Furthermore, Mr. Huszár is a speaker at international conferences.
  5. Erik Timmermans

    Erik Timmermans

    Founder of World of Open Account. Erik was Secretary General of IFG from 2005 till 2015. He played a key role in the merger between IFG and FCI on 31/12/15. Post-merger Erik was Deputy Secretary General of FCI till 31/12/2017. He started his career in the factoring industry with International Factors Belgium in 1982. In 2008 he initiated the EU Federation for Factoring & Commercial Finance (EUF) of which he was Chairman (2016-2018). In March 2018 he received both the Life Time Achievement Award at the BCR RFIx conference and the Leadership in Receivables Finance Award at the Business Money Awards Dinner.
  6. Ernesto Vila

    Ernesto Vila

    Ernesto VIla is Co-Founder and CEO of Consol Freight. Vila launched ConsolFreight, a Pre Shipment and Post Shipment trade finance platform that bridges traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi), after working for more than 25 years in global logistics, distribution logistics, freight transportation, SaaS and international trade. ConsolFreight leverages their own global logistics network to transform the natural custodian process of transportation into the risk mitigator. The protocol minimizes fraud and secures repayment by taking the underlying physical assets as collateral, validating delivery & acceptance and links the physical flow with the data and financial flows.
  7. Gideon Jones

    Gideon Jones

    Gideon Jones studied Law before joining UK Government, Export Credit Guarantee Department. His career has focussed on risk management within the credit insurance industry including leading roles in Special Risks Underwriting, Claims, Recoveries and Collections always in an international environment. He was centrally involved in merger and acquisition activity within the current Atradius Group, established Risk offices in Asia and was the founding director of Atradius Collections in UK. Now within Atradius Collections, Gideon develops strategic partnerships globally with a special focus on Financial Institutes and is centrally involved in Atradius Group innovation and technology forums. Gideon is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management. He is married with two children and based in Cardiff, UK.
  8. John Brehcist

    John Brehcist

    John Brehcist is an acknowledged expert in the Receivables Finance world. Previously the Head of Strategy for Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, for over twelve years he has run his successful roundwindow consultancy business working with clients (from start-ups to established leaders, from emerging to developed markets) in twenty six countries, offering impartial advice and constructive support on strategy, marketing, operations, people, risk and fraud control. He has combined this with taking a range of non-exec director roles, has been Director of Advocacy at FCI and Coordinator of the EU Federation for Factoring and Commercial Finance (EUF). Since September 2019, he has been a key member of the team at World of Open Account, WOA. John has an MA from Oxford and an MBA from Warwick. He is a well-known author, lecturer and conference presenter.

Laurent’s entire career has been in I.T. for the financial/SCF industry, first in the Business/Systems analysis space, then Projects & Products Management, evolving into Management roles (and Group C.O.O. since 2010).

    Robert Meters

    Robert Meters is Head of Global Business & Financial Services at SCHUMANN. He studied Business Administration and International Management at the University for Economics and Management in Essen. He has been in the credit risk management industry since 1993 and has worked for leading information service providers as well as in the telecommunications industry. At SCHUMANN, he is responsible for global business and the Financial Services division. He advises and takes care of customers in the automation of credit decisions and the implementation of a fully integrated credit management workflow system that also supports KYC processes. SCHUMANN offers the leading credit risk management solution for the financial services sector with excellent references in leasing, factoring, banking and trade credit insurance.
  14. Sebastian Erich

    Sebastian Erich

    Sebastian ERICH started his corporate banking career in 1990 at CREDITANSTALT in Austria. He worked in sales and risk management in Vienna and CEE before moving to Paris/France in 1998 - running corporate client business for HypoVereinsbank/France. After 2 years in Private Equity he moved back to Austria in 2007 joining Erste Group – as a corporate Banker. For 5 years he was responsible for Large Corporate Client coverage in Austria and CEE. In 2013 Sebastian was appointed as CEO in Intermarket Bank AG – the factoring subsidiary of Erste Group in Austria. Since 2017 Intermarket Bank AG has the overall strategic responsibility for Supply Chain Finance in Erste Group with a strong focus on Large and SME clients all over Erste Groups geography.
  15. Simon Featherstone

    Simon Featherstone

    Simon is a Chairman, Non-Executive Director and Advisor to financial services, fintech businesses and banks; including PE backed, venture capital and early stage founder backed businesses. He has a diverse range of experience in financial services, from divisional CEO of large banks to global specialist lending. Simon is also a retained advisor to an investment bank and specialist fund investing in niche SME lending area(s). Currently the Non-Executive Chairman of DivideBuy; independent NED (and chair of risk committee) at Oxbury Bank and Funding Exchange; as well as Chairman of Chainvine and Clear Factor. Advisor to Alantra, BlueCompass and World of Open Account (WOA). Previously, Simon has served as CEO of Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, Global CEO of Bibby Financial Services (BFS), CEO and Chairman of The Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC) Plc and a Senior Executive at Barclays.
  16. Simon Peterman

    Simon Peterman

    Presently Factoring Coordination Manager for 12 factoring units in CEE at Raiffeisen Factor Bank AG in Austria, Simon Peterman was previously Member of Management Board of Invictus FS, Slovenia, Head of Transaction Banking Product Management at Erste Bank; Member of the ICC Global SCF Steering Group, Chairman of the CEE Chapter of FCI, Netherlands and started his career as a credit insurance underwriter at the Slovene Export Credit Agency.
